Peter Birney, BSc.(Biology)

            Since joining the UNBI team in 1994, Peter has worked in a variety of areas including; forestry, fisheries, health, environmental issues, policy & legislation, and lands.  Peter is a member of the UNBI Aboriginal Natural Resource Committee (ANRC) and sits on several regional and national committees including:

·        Although not currently funded, the UNBI has and will continue to provide technical assistance to communities who request stock status and resource projection data concerning fisheries resources. 

·        UNBI has also prepared natural resource briefings on terrestrial issues as well including forestry development and productivity analysis and fish and game utilization.
